  Terror Around the Corner
  2/22/2004 • Jerusalem
Jerusalem's latest suicide terror attack took place quite close to my home. I rushed to the scene, and describe what I saw in the minutes after the blast, and also what I told the many journalists who interviewed me about it.
  Empassioned Debate
  2/16/2004 • WorldNetDaily
This commentary for the World Net Daily web site focuses on Mel Gibson's "Passion" film, and especially Jewish reaction to it. I share my views as a former Catholic, who is now an Evangelical living in the world's only Jewish state--a rather unique combination.
  Catch 22
  2/6/2004 • WorldNetDaily
This is my latest commentary for the World Net Daily web site, featured there today. It focuses on the swirling controversy over the failure so far to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I relate how the Israeli intelligence community views the situation, (especially where they think such weapons might be located), and detail why the lack of WMD could thwart any necessary future military action against Syria and Iran. I explain that this was one of my pre-war concerns, as I shared in some columns published before the coalition operation was launched last March.
  Jerusalem Bus Blast
  1/29/2004 • Jerusalem
It was an all too familiar scene early this morning. As I was about to enter a local food store on Jerusalem’s busy Hebron Road, an ambulance with siren blaring roared past me, bypassing morning rush hour traffic by swiftly moving into the less busy oncoming lanes...
  January 2004 Israel News Review
  1/27/2004 • Jerusalem
The January 2004 news and analysis report examines the possible indictment of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on bribery charges. It also looks at the prisoner exchange with Hizbullah and other important develoments during January in the Promised Land.
  Sharon In Crisis
  1/22/2004 • Jerusalem
It looks increasingly likely today that Ariel Sharon’s days as Israel’s Prime Minister are severely numbered. This comes after acting Attorney General Edna Arbel indicated that enough hard evidence exists to formally charge the former army general with receiving financial bribes from David Appel, the Likud party affiliated businessman who was indicted on Wednesday for allegedly passing huge bribes on to the Sharon family and to the premier’s deputy, Labor Minister Ehud Olmert.
  Painful Circumcision
  1/12/2004 • WorldNetDaily
My latest commentary for the World Net Daily web site focuses on the growing nuclear threat in the Middle East region, Pakistan’s important role in that arena, and increasing Islamic calls for Israel to be disarmed of her non-conventional weapons.
  December 2003 Israel News Review
  12/29/2003 • Jerusalem
This month's news review and analysis report forcuses on an upsurge of violence at the end of the year, and Ariel Sharon's surprise announcment that he will begin a unilateral withdrawal from the disputed territories in 2004 if Palestinian leaders do not crack down on terror groups, as called for in the Road Map peace plan.
  Holiday Greeting
  12/22/2003 • Jerusalem
I am back in Israel after my month-long US speaking tour. It was good to find that it has been raining quite extensively in my absence—so much so that Jerusalem and other major Israeli cities have already received over one-third of their annual rainfall, even though today is only the first full day of winter!
  Remembering Our Solders
  12/1/2003 • WorldNetDaily
I was taught by my fine parents and by the nuns at grade school that modesty is a godly virtue. Decades later, I still believe that to be a fact. Therefore, I've only typed my name into the Google search engine a couple of times to see what came up, and then only checked out the first few of the thousands of listed items. I was surprised to find that an American soldier who fell in Vietnam shared my full name...
